Outstanding Student Performance

High Point Academy is in line or out performs all elementary and middle schools in Far Northeast Denver.

Award Winning Wellness Program

Our award-winning wellness program ensures that our students spend their school hours in a healthy learning environment. We do this not only because healthy kids are better learners, but also because we want to promote healthy habits at a young age, thereby making it easier for our students to make healthy choices as adults.

Students are Grouped by Performance

In the essential subjects of reading and math, our students learn at their own level. If they’re behind, they get the instruction they need to catch up. If they’re ahead, they move up to a level that challenges them.

Physical Education

While many other schools have reduced or eliminated physical education (P.E.) programs, we offer regular P.E.

Spanish Instruction Starts in Kindergarten

Our students learn Spanish during classes that start in Kindergarten and continue through eighth grade.

Service-Learning Projects

Our students build character and help communities in need by taking part in different service learning projects every year, starting in Kindergarten.

Parent Involvement

We believe in a family-centered learning environment, which is why we recommend every HPA family to volunteer 20 hours each school year.

Preschool

Our preschool program serves children ages 4 and up. We currently offer 3 different full-day schedule options:

  • 5 full days
  • 3 full days
  • 2 full days

Promethean Boards in Every Classroom

Our interactive technology-based lesson plans engage our students while teaching them the skills they need to be successful in a tech-savvy world.

Students Wear Uniforms

Uniforms enable our students to focus less on outward appearances and more on character and academic achievement.
