Board Open House

The High Point Academy Governing Board (School Board) would like to extend an opportunity to apply to serve on the board appointed School Board. This professional opportunity to shape the education landscape in the far Northeast, as well as influence the academic journey for scholars is not only meaningful, but critical for the continued success of today’s youth.

The Board is looking for individuals with experience in policy, education, finance, and/or leadership. To learn more about this rare opportunity, please join us for an open house on August 9, 2024. We look forward to learning more about you and partnering together to enhance the education for Colorado scholars.

Governing Board Director Requirements
Pass a background check
Actively participate in monthly meetings (2 hours per month)
Serve on committees, as needed (approximately 1 hour per month)
Attend school events (1-2 per school year)
Share your professional experience and skills to uphold the fiduciary duty as a Board Director
Three year term
Voluntary position – no compensation

09/01/2024 – Appointment Begin Date
